Ingredients:
1kg Mutton
3 chopped Onions
4 chopped tomato
6-7 dry chillies
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp poppy seeds
1 tsp peppercorns
2 tsp of Ginger chopped
10 garlic
10 cloves
10 cardamoms
10 almonds
1 cup ghee
1/4 cup curd
1 cup hot water
2 tsp of chopped corriander
4 blades of mace nutmeg
1/4 cup grated dry coconut
1 pinch turmeric
salt to taste
Directions: Heat the pan and add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, poppy seeds, cloves, cardomoms. peppercorns, mace nutmeg and turmeric. Finally grind all these items with ginger, garlic, chillies and little salt. Keep aside. Grind coconut and onions into fine paste. Heat ghee and fry the coconut and onion paste, till brown. and add ground lump of spices and fry for 10 minutes. Then add the curd along this till ghee showing on the surface. Then add tomato and stir for 5 mins. Then put the mutton chunks and enough salt. Fry the mutton until slightly browned. Then lower the fire till the mutton cooks completely. Now transfer into another new dish and garnish with corriander.
